Churchill wrote about 20 books during his lifetime. In 1953, he received the Nobel Prize in Literature for “his mastery of historical and biographical description as well as for brilliant oratory in defending exalted human values.”
In 1931, Churchill was hit by a car in New York because he forgot there was right-hand traffic in the USA.
Churchill did 500 painting in his life. Picasso once remarked that He could earn a living as a painter. Another pet hobby was stonemasonry.
