Despite that more than 30 thousand people had signed the petition for reprieve, the #bandit could not avoid being hanged. More than 130 years after his execution, Ned Kelly is still a controversial figure of Australian history. Many see him as a common murderer and robber,but the majority of the Australians consider Kelly a folk hero fighting against the corrupt authority.
