Stunning photos of the first flight over the Mount Everest

The top of the world, the Mount Everest, was first climbed by Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary in 1953. However, exactly two decades earlier, Lord Clydesdale together with Colonel Stewart Blacker in one plane and photographer S.R. Bonnett and Flight Lieutenant David McIntyre in the other had flown across the mighty mountain.
