Billy Wilder’s timeless classic “Some Like It Hot”, released in 1959, is considered the best American comedy of all time. The story, which was set in the 1920s America, was originally filmed in color but the makeup of Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon, who played the role of two musicians disguised as women in an all-female band, appeared greenish color in the records. Thanks to the images collected by Vintage Everyday, we can get a picture of how the movie would have looked like in color.
