Remains of a grisly massacre unearthed in France

Archaeologists from France’s National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (Inrap) found body parts of 10 individuals in a circular pit located in Alsace, eastern France. The victims were killed by stone axes probably in raids around 6,000 years ago. The murdered were simply thrown in the silo.
