A ”veteran” returns to space

John Glenn, who had previously made a historic orbital flight on board of Friendship 7 in 1962, returned to space again on October 29, 1998, aboard the spacecraft Discovery. The 77-year-old Glenn made the world record with his second flight as he was the oldest man ever to participate in a space travel.
